About me
Hi! I'm a 28-year-old, half-Swedish, half-Spanish writer, born in Stockholm and raised in Barcelona,
After studying Criminology and specialising in Political Science, I've built a career in Business Development and Marketing, occasionally also producing campaigns for a big international beauty brand.
Becoming a traditionally published author has always been my dream. If I could choose how to spend the rest of my days it would be travelling, writing, and perhaps producing movies about my books! (A girl can dream 😅)
I'm a social introvert—I thrive around like-minded people but cherish my late-night writing sessions in my room the most.
I've created a small bookclub in my city to share my love for literature (pictured right). I'm a mum to a small podenco that me and my boyfriend of almost a decade adopted a couple years ago.
All The Rage You Left is set in the small Northern Swedish town where I spend my summers and winters.

My Favourite Reads of All Time
I'm a sucker for speculative fiction with an upmarket feel, beautiful writing and unique plots

What's next?
Two exciting ideas that are next on my list
Upmarket speculative fiction novel #2
A man who is cursed to know everyone's deepest, darkest secret opens a bar because understanding the reasons behind them helps him hold on to faith in humanity. Until one of his favorite customer's secret changes—she is going to commit murder, and he might be able to stop it.
Upmarket speculative fiction novel #1
A writer with OCD is unable to finish her story. Her character appears at her doorstep, in the flesh, to help her untangle the reasons out why she can't do so—invoking a past of friendship and love marked by a fatal flaw she can't let go of.

Some more facts about me
My favorite place in the world is our cabin in the North of Sweden, the setting where All The Rage You Left takes place. In second place come my home in Barcelona and the whole city of Amsterdam, where I lived for a year for my master's degree.
Brickell is not actually my surname. I carry it in honor of my grandmother, who always regretted losing that surname when she married. I thought it would be a nice gesture to bring it back in my pen name.
I'm the oldest of four siblings, in a family of five (!!) pisces. We're a sensitive little bunch, if you believe in such things.
My next bucket list destinations are Brazil, El Salvador, Copenhaguen and Taiwan. Hopefully, by the time anyone reads this, the first one will be struck off this list! 🇧🇷
I've been a vegetarian for 9 years, with no plans of going back. 🌱
Since Spotify Wrapped exists, my #1 artist has been Taylor Swift.
